The Purna Chandra Institute of Engineering & Technology(PCIET) , Chhendipada is established by PCIET Trust in the year 2009 as a memorial institution of Revered Late Purna Chandra Pradhan who is an outstanding teacher, reknowned social worker, founder of KIMET, Chhendipada & several other educational institution in the locality, considering the technical manpower requirement of local industries & mines of the state.

Honrable Late Purna Chandra Pradhan took his departure from the mortal world during the year 2005, his ambition was to educate the society and to produce quality engineers who will ready to accept socio-economic challenges of the industries & community..

As his eldest son, Er. Lambodar Pradhan with his inspiration has taken step to establish this institution to provide quality technical training. This institute has excellent infrastructure in terms of faculty, equipment, building & providing excellent academic facilities to its students & thus giving a fair opportunity to the students fulfilling the technological void & compete qualitatively. Our interest is to safeguard the interest of the future of the youth by providing all type of facilities including placement in different industries & mines of the state & region.
